Who we are
Mokimo is a small engineering design firm based in Sheffield, working across mechanical, electronic, and firmware disciplines. We take the time to understand a problem completely before proposing a solution.
PeopleTom studied Mechanical Engineering at Loughborough University while developing practical experience in electronics and firmware. After three years working on scientific equipment, medical devices and consumer products, he co-founded Mokimo. His work spans mechanical, electronic and software design, particularly where problems cross disciplinary boundaries. These experiences shaped Mokimo’s pragmatic, client-led approach: understand what needs to be achieved first, then design the most appropriate route to a practical solution.
Luke leads business development, sales and outreach at Mokimo, alongside the administration and coordination that keep the business moving. His background is in sales and marketing within the medical device industry, where he helped scale the UK branch of an international company. He brings a people-focused approach to Mokimo, helping clients communicate what they need and ensuring conversations turn into clear, productive projects.
