The disciplines below often overlap in practice. We bring the right combination together around the problem, whether that means developing one component or coordinating the interfaces across a complete product.
Mechanical Engineering
Product design, mechanism development, and structural analysis—from concept sketches through to production-ready outputs. We work in CAD, FEA, and at the bench, choosing the right level of analysis for the decision that needs to be made.
Electronics & Embedded Systems
Circuit design, PCB layout, and sensor integration for connected products and instrumentation. We can develop from proof-of-concept breadboards through to production assemblies, with attention to the interfaces between hardware and the wider system.
Firmware Development
Firmware for microcontrollers and connected hardware, plus supporting software such as control interfaces, configuration tools, and dashboards. We work from low-level device behaviour through to the software people use to operate and understand it.
Requirements, Systems & Process Design
Mapping workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and designing systems that let organisations work the way they actually need to. We can also help establish requirements and acceptance criteria before detailed engineering begins.
Production & Automation Systems
Custom jigs, assembly tooling, functional test rigs, and machine automation designed to support manufacturing, assist operators, and automate testing. Outputs can be designed for a single process or developed toward repeatable production use.

Fixed-price projects
A defined scope, agreed deliverables, and a clear price. Best suited to projects where the problem and intended outputs can be described confidently up front.
Time and materials
Flexible support billed for the time spent. Useful for research, ongoing development, or projects where the right solution will emerge through investigation.
Ad-hoc consulting
Experienced input when you need it, from one-off design reviews and technical meetings to problem-solving sessions or a second opinion. We can also provide this support through an ongoing arrangement.
